Aggregation of the Blessed Sacrament
The Aggregation of the Blessed Sacrament is a public, universal and international association of Christ’s faithful affiliated with the religious Institutes founded by St. Peter Julian Eymard – the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament – and recognised by the Church.
It stems from the long tradition of our religious families which gave life to a ‘public association of lay faithful’ in order to share the same Eucharistic spirituality and mission with the laity drawing inspiration from St. Peter Julian Eymard.
Guided by the Project of Life, their Christian vocation is to give witness to Christ in the midst of our human society and, starting from the Eucharist, source and summit of all Evangelizing, try to permeate evangelically all human realities. Organised on an international, national, and local level, they take active role in the actions of the local Church in fostering solidarity, human dignity and holistic human development.

International delegates of the Aggregation
Since the desire to live internationality as a fundamental element of our Eucharistic vocation, the provincial directors of the Aggregation of the different Provinces | Region have appointed lay delegates for a dialogue aimed towards a clearer organisation at the international level.
Directors of the Aggregation
The local Director has full authority for the discipline of the Association. In carrying out this responsibility he is assisted by a Council of at least two members. These members of the Council are elected by the Associates for a determined period (one, two or three years) and are always re-eligible. In dialogue with the Council the Director will take care that the Associates: will be formed in Eucharistic spirituality; will be introduced into prayer according to St Peter Julian Eymard’s charism; will grow in a life of witness and service inspired by the Eucharist; will deepen their knowledge of the Church’s social doctrine; will express their lay apostolate in communion with the local Church. In dialogue with the Council, the Director convokes and presides at the meetings, which are normally held each month (PoL, n. 27)
